Bible Classes Cancelled!!!

Due to the weather and road conditions the elders at Westside church of Christ have decided to cancel Bible Classes for Wednesday, February 1st. Since we are not meeting for class this evening, please consider and meditate upon the following scriptures as part of your personal devotion this evening. Important Announcement From The Westside Shepherds Worship assemblies and Bible classes will resume at Westside, LORD willing, on Sunday, August 29. We look forward to once again assembling together. An announcement will be made by the eldership on Sunday morning concerning once again meeting together. Please use appropriate health and safety protocols to keep yourself and others safe.

A Very Important (and Happy) Announcement!

After much thought and prayer, our shepherds announced last Sunday (August 30) that we all will begin meeting together again this coming Sunday (September 6). In other words, there will no longer be separate services for those older and more “at-risk” and those who are younger. Texas Governor Abbott issued a mandate on Thursday for all Texans to wear a mask when out in public to help curb the increase in recent COVID-19 cases throughout the state. Our Westside elders “strongly recommend” members comply with the spirit of the Governor’s executive order in our assemblies out of concern for one another’s health as well as a desire to obey the laws of our state government.
